Welcome to the half marathon hosted on the beautiful historical coast of Gansbaai. Starting off at Laerskool Gansbaai, the Danger Point Half Marathon takes you along a rugged trail through coastal fynbos, past the Danger Point Lighthouse and winding gravel roads along the coast overlooking Walker Bay.
This annual event taking place on 31 December is sure to challenge you and is also the perfect way to end of the year. Be sure to take in the views over the Atlantic, Walker Bay and the area where the HMS Birkenhead ran aground as you make your way along the route consisting of tarred and gravel roads. This year's event is hosted by Romansbaai Beach & Fynbos Estate and Lomond Wine Estate.

Participants can enter at Laerskool Gansbaai Sports Field on 30 December from 16:00 to 19:00 or on the morning of the race from 5:30. Walkers are welcome. Be sure to stop by the local places to eat for a hearty meal after your race.
