It's that time of the year again. Time to give every funky fanatic what they’ve been waiting for. It’s time for the Funky Fynbos Festival 2018!
This year’s festival returns with some of the previous year’s activities and has introduced some new ones, making Funky Fynbos Festival 2018 funkier than ever. This year's festival takes place in two of Gansbaai’s most iconic and recognizable locations, the Lomond Wine Estate and Gansbaai Old Harbour.
The Funky Fynbos MTB Races will take contestants through the beautiful Walker Bay Conservancy. The conservancy is a group of farms in the Overberg that are home to some of the most beautiful and unique fauna and flora in the world. Riders have a choice between three races of varying distances, the Funky Lap Race, Funky Monster and Funky Challenge. These MTB events range in difficulty and are fit for children all the way up to the fittest of athletes.
